Our exchange program with Wakefield Memorial High School

The student exchange program connecting Basel's Gymnasium Leonhard with Wakefield Memorial High School was established in 2003 and has been popular ever since. Every year, study visits lasting several weeks are organized in Basel and Massachusetts. Actively participating in classes at the respective school, living with host families, and enjoying a wide range of special events offers the students the opportunity for exciting intercultural exchange. During their weeks in Boston, participants in this program conduct field research on historical and literary topics. They document their findings on this blog.
