Waking up to sunny and warm weather, a group of us decided to visit Front Beach in Rockport with our host brothers and sisters. It had been cold and rainy in Switzerland for the past few weeks, so we thought we should take advantage of it! The beach was beautiful, the sun was shining and you could hear the waves. 

  

  

  

Even though the Americans insisted that the water would be warm for them, it felt like an ice bath to us! But once we got over the shock, it was fun and refreshing!  It was a great opportunity to bond with everyone, as we were chatting and sharing stories about our countries! 

 

 

  

  

After our time on the beach, we took a walk through Rockport. The town looked like straight out of a movie - every shop was charmingly decorated and full of character. It felt magical to walk the streets and discover local treasures. 

  

  

  

At the end of the day, we split up to spend more time with our host brothers and sisters. It was an exciting day of exploration!
